What Does FNCB Bank do with your personal information?

The FNCB Bank Privacy Notice explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and how and why in certain cases we may share it internally or with other parties. We also tell you how to exercise your personal information sharing and use choices.

Online Privacy Statement – What We Collect

FNCB Bank recognizes the importance of protecting the confidentiality and privacy of its customers and others who visit our web site. FNCB is committed to securing and protecting information that may personally identify you online.

While you are on fncb.com, we will not collect any information about you without you specifically and knowingly providing it. We only collect non-identifying information about our visitors such as date and time our site was accessed, number of accesses, unique accesses, duration on site, what pages were visited, operating system, IP address, and the city, state and country of the visitor as identified by the server address and URL extensions such as .net, .com, or .gov. The information we collect does not include gender, age, race or religious affiliation. This information will not be sold or transferred to other parties unless otherwise noted. FNCB Bank collects this information to create summary statistics and determine the level of interest in our information made available on our website that helps us to establish products and services to best meet our customers' needs. All information obtained through our analytics pertains exclusively to the activity on fncb.com.

Our website contains application forms and “Request Information” forms allowing customers to apply for and/or request information on products and services. We collect information from you when you fill out an online application or form for a new product or service (loans, deposit accounts, etc.). This information may include, but is not limited to, name, address, e-mail address, phone number, social security number, account numbers and date of birth. All online account applications are encrypted to maintain the security of your information.

We have contracted with a third-party provider to offer our online banking services allowing the ability to access your accounts online. Information that we may collect about you through online interaction includes information that you input, such as your name, address, email address, other contact information; data resulting from your activity, such as transaction information; and location information. The third-party provider is obligated to maintain the confidentiality of the personal information provided to them through our website and not to use the information for any purpose other than to perform the transaction(s) you have requested. The third-party provider maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to maintain the security of your information.

Information collected via cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information that a website stores on a visitor's web browser to remind the site about the visitor the next time they visit the site. FNCB Bank does not store confidential or sensitive personal information in cookies. FNCB Bank and/or third-party providers may use cookies to enhance our customers' online banking session by making navigation easier and providing important security features. Cookies cannot be used to capture your e-mail address, obtain data from your hard drive, or gain confidential or sensitive information about you. Additionally, cookies cannot be read by a website other than the one that set the cookie. Some websites, however, use cookies to obtain information from your browser. You can set your browser to notify you before accepting a cookie, so that you can control whether you accept or reject a cookie. You will need to manage your cookie settings for each device and browser you use. Each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preference.

E-Mail Marketing

If you supply us with your e-mail address, we may use it to contact you with information on products and services or upcoming events. Unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the e-mail or by e-mailing marketing@fncb.com.

Text Message (SMS) Marketing

If you opt-in to receive text messages (SMS) during the online account opening process, you consent to receive marketing text messages (e.g., promos and offers) from FNCB Bank at the number provided. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP or clicking the unsubscribe link (if available).

Mobile Applications

FNCB Bank’s Mobile Banking Application (“Application”) allows you to access your account balances, make deposits, make transfers, and pay bills on your mobile device in accordance with our Online Banking Service Agreement. This Notice applies to any personally identifiable information or other information that we may collect through our application. This app accesses device locations even when the app is not in use through a service called Pulsate.

For your reference, Pulsate collects the following information:

Location – Used for geofencing and beacon scanning essential for advertising/marketing campaign delivery.

UserID – Pulsate creates a random user GUID upon initial app access, which is later used during every connection with Pulsate. This GUID is unique for each device/app and changes after every app reinstall. This ID is used for identifying a user and sending campaigns.

Product Interaction – Pulsate tracks user’s app entry, app exit, and pages viewed within the app.

Name – Pulsate collects user’s first name for product personalization purposes.

Third Party Websites

Our site may contain links to third party websites or applications. These links and pointers to third party websites or applications are not part of our site. FNCB Bank does not make any representations or warranties regarding these third-party websites. We are not responsible for any losses or damage in connection with the information, security, privacy practices, availability, content, or accuracy of materials of such third-party websites or applications. These third-party websites or applications might have Terms of Use or Privacy Policies different from ours and third-party websites may provide less privacy and/or security than our site. We encourage you to review the Terms of Use and Privacy Policies of all third-party websites before you share any personally identifiable information with them.

Personal Information on Children

FNCB Bank recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of children online, and we comply with the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act that are applicable to us. We do not collect personal information from consumers under the age of thirteen.

The effective date of this policy is July 7, 2023. Any updates or changes to the policy will be posted on this web site with the new revision date which is the effective date of changes. Your continued use of this website constitutes your acceptance of any changes to this policy.

Card Manager Additional Terms

The card manager feature is offered by FNCB Bank (referred to herein as (“Card Manager”) for use by FNCB cardholders. FNCB’s Card Manager feature is intended to allow You to initiate certain payment card related activities for Your enrolled FNCB card(s) via the Card Manager feature. Those activities may include the ability to but not limited to:

  • Register the card
  • Activate and deactivate the card
  • Set control preferences for card usage including location, transaction, and merchant types, spend limits, and card on/off (“Controls”)
  • Set alert preferences for card usage including location, transaction, and merchant types, spend limits, and declined purchases (“Alerts”)
  • View transaction history including cleansed and enriched merchant information (e.g., merchant name, address, and contact information)
  • Report Your card as lost or stolen
  • Review Your spending by merchant type and/or by month
  • View a list of merchants storing Your card information for recurring or card -on-file payments

The Card Manager feature may enable access to FNCB and third parties’ services and websites, including GPS locator websites, such as Google. Use of such services may require internet access and that You accept additional terms and conditions applicable thereto, including, with respect to Google maps, those terms and conditions of use found at http://maps.google.com/help/terms_maps. Html and the Google Legal Notices found at https://www.google.com/help/legalnotices_maps/, or such other URLs as may be updated by Google. To the extent the card management feature allows You to access third party services, FNCB and those third parties, as applicable, reserve the right to change, suspend, remove, limit, or disable access to any of those services at any time without notice and without liability to You.

You agree to allow us to communicate with You via push notification, SMS and/or email, with respect to the activities performed via the card management feature. Data fees may be imposed by Your mobile provider for the transmission and receipt of messages and Alerts.

FNCB reserves the right to send administrative and service notifications via emails and/or SMS messages to the email address and/or phone number provided upon enrollment in FNCB’s Card Manager feature.

Availability/Interruption. You acknowledge that the actual time between occurrence of an event (“Event”) triggering a selected Control or Alert and the time the notification of such event is sent to Your mobile device (“Notification”) is dependent on a number of factors including, without limitation, Your wireless service and coverage within the area in which You are located at that time. You acknowledge that Notifications of Events may be delayed, experience delivery failures, or face other transmission problems. Similarly, selection of Controls and Alerts (collectively, “Commands”) are likewise affected by the same or similar factors and problems could arise with use of Commands. Notifications of Events may not be available to be sent to Your mobile device in all areas.

If You registered to receive Notifications to Your mobile device, the Card Guard feature is available when You have Your mobile device within the operating range of a wireless carrier with an appropriate signal for data services. The Card Manager feature is subject to transmission limitations and service interruptions. FNCB does not guarantee that the Card Manager feature (or any portion thereof) will be available at all times or in all areas.

You acknowledge and agree that certain functionality with the Card Manager feature may not be available for all transactions. Commands based upon the location of the mobile device where the Card Manager feature is installed or the location of the merchant where the card is being attempted for use may not apply appropriately to card -not present transactions or transactions where the location of the actual location of the merchant differs from the merchant’s registered address.

You acknowledge and agree that neither FNCB nor its third-party services providers (including the developer of the technology enabling the Notifications) are responsible for performance degradation, interruption or delays due to conditions outside of its control. You acknowledge that neither FNCB nor its third-party service providers shall be liable to You if You are unable to receive Notifications on Your mobile device in Your intended area. FNCB, for itself and its third-party service providers, disclaims all liability for: any delays, mis-delivery, loss, or failure in the delivery of any Notification; any form of active or passive filtering.
